Grant County Court Dockets Explained
A court docket in Grant County is the public-facing event log for a case. Oregon research uses the term register for the official court log under ORS 7.020. Search Grant County Court Dockets
The free Oregon Judicial Department portal is the main online route for Grant County Circuit Court docket information. Smart Search can search by case number, citation number, court record number, or party name. It can also narrow results by location, case type, status, filing date, judgment criteria, and warrant criteria when those filters are exposed.
For Grant County court dockets, the safest workflow is to search broadly, then narrow. Results are capped and may show only the first 200 matches. OJD recommends adding more detail, choosing a location, changing the date range, or choosing a case category when too many records appear.

Grant County Courts With Dockets
Grant County belongs to Oregon's 24th Judicial District with Harney County. Grant County Circuit Court is the general jurisdiction trial court and is part of the Oregon Judicial Department. Its docket entries are the ones most likely to appear through OJD Smart Search and OJCIN. The Circuit Court handles criminal, civil, family, juvenile, protective order, traffic and violation matters filed there, and other case types assigned by law.
Grant County Justice Court is not part of the state-funded OJD system in the same way. Its page describes traffic, violations, small claims, eviction, civil actions up to the researched limit, and non-felony criminal jurisdiction. A traffic citation may be filed in either Circuit Court or Justice Court, and the citation states the court where the person must appear.

OJCIN Online is the subscription route for Oregon circuit court register access. Grant County Court Calendar Checks
Calendar entries are closely related to dockets, but they are not permanent case histories. OJD warns that court schedules can change at any time. Federal Dockets Near Grant County
Federal court dockets are not Grant County court dockets, but they may matter when a case from Grant County is filed in federal court. The U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon serves the whole state. The researched federal location list notes a Pendleton courthouse location, but says in-person filing must be done through the Portland Division.

For civil dockets, a judgment entry is more important than a complaint entry because the complaint starts the case while the judgment can create an enforceable result. For traffic dockets, default judgment may appear if a person fails to respond to a citation filed in the proper court.
